Meet Courtney

Courtney Morris, MS, LPC Associate

Supervised by Joanna Trevino, MA, LPC-S

Integrated, Holistic Approach

As a mother, LPC Associate, holistic nutritionist (MSHN), and yoga teacher (E-RYT500) I blend time-tested practices with evidence-based approaches to support clients on their path of healing & self-discovery.

Embodiment

I view the sensations and feelings our body sends us as messages of what needs some attention. The body is constantly in communication with our mind, and our mind with the body. Healing happens when we are able to tune into the bodies messages and truly listen.

Processing difficult emotions isn’t a once in a lifetime experience. Because of this, my hope for each client is that I am able to teach them tools they can use beyond our time together. I am incredibly passionate about helping others feel at ease in their body & mind as they navigate their path of learning to tune-in to their self.

Sessions with Courtney   are $125/hour

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety
aka Postpartum Depression

For new parents, some emotional and mental tension is to be expected while adjusting to the role. Around 15 to 20% of new parents, however, experience more significant symptoms of depression or anxiety called perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) which interfere with their ability to function, parent, and live life fully.

Women of every culture, age, income level and race can develop perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Symptoms can appear any time during pregnancy and the first 12 months after childbirth. There are effective and well-researched treatment options to help you recover.
